Just like to confirm no demand for chrome cast no need for wifi dongles no need for any of that
Moto z play seems to support audio video output with a hdmi mhl adapter and USB c string
I didn't call up it worked as it'south mentioned near electric current phones don't have slimport or mhl adequacy information technology's evident this telephone does .
Best of luck as I believe this is a nice find .

Can you mail exact specifications / link to the adapter that you are using. That's interesting, because that there is also MyDP/Slimport output (via the mod backplane, just all the same, I would've expected to support just 1 standard, not both).

Thank you

I cant link direct from Amazon only I'll screenshot the item
Works like a charm on a Boob tube not skilful for a car radio mirroring only cause the newer Android motorcar radios are set up to notice an actual HDMI dongle from the input if it don't sense a hdmi unit it won't mirror

Can you postal service exact specifications / link to the adapter that you are using. That'south interesting, considering that there is too MyDP/Slimport output (via the modern backplane, but nevertheless, I would've expected to back up only 1 standard, not both).

Thank you

By the descriptions, nosotros can see that this adptador is compatible also with galaxy s6 s7, simply I already had a s6 and it does not have compatibility with MHL, I bought several cables and none worked, what I can see is that this adptador works like a bridge USB, which transfers the prototype non by MHL but past a USB link similar to using mirroring via usb on the computer, so it is necessary to activate the USB debugging ... This is very good considering information technology is comptaviel with whatsoever android that does non have support The MHL ... Very good !!

At that place seem to exist 2 versions of this cable from M.Style.
Argent version compatible with the Galaxy S7 and a Black version, which is not.

Problem is, the silver version is not bachelor in the U.k. (not even from Amazon).

Anyone know where I tin can get this in the UK (or someone who ships to the UK)?

I purchased the Thousand.Way white cable from Amazon (cablevision white colour with sliver USB HDMI plug stop) but it won't work on my Moto Z2 Play. This is even afterward I turn on "USB Debugging".

I also noticed that my Moto Z2 does NOT ask the question "ALLOW" when this USB C to HDMI cable is connected to it. However that "Let" question is asked on both my iPhone and LG cellphone when I connect my TV to this cablevision and it works on these ii phone brand (iPhone and LG) but not on my Moto Z2 Play.

HELP PLEASE

I bought a cable from AliExpress and it is working too. But I get very low framerates and compression artefacts on fast moving content. Playing games or watching videos is impossible. How does the Thousand.Way cable do in these employ cases?

To eliminate pixelation, download the Ezcast app and play videos via the app while connected through hdmi.
Works cracking.

Works great.
I'll give it a endeavour and report back. Thanks for the suggestion!

Edit: Ezcast does indeed work better. But videos however don't play smoothly...
